In July 2010, local papers reported that the City moved against a condo project for having unresolved issues and a messy site.
It is therefore quite ironic that the City - or City contractors - have been maintaining a trash pile in the City-owned ditch along Veterans Blvd. on the east side.
Road construction in that area has been finished for many months so it is a shame that first impression visitors from the east have of Airdrie is a garbage dump on the side of the road.
