That is exactly what happened to Mark Strashok, Saturday’s big cash prize winner of the Curling Alberta 50/50 Raffle, presented by Boston Pizza. He has always enjoyed watching curling, particularly the Scotties and the Brier, and decided to take a chance on purchasing some 50/50 tickets.
So how does it feel to win that big? “It feels great. It was sort of a shock,” said Mark. “I had to check my numbers a number of times and go over it again and again.”
