Airdrie Fire Department (AFD) responded to a reported structure fire at 800 Yankee Valley Boulevard SE on Oct. 27.
According to an AFD press release, the report came in at approximately 4:49 p.m. Crews arrived on scene thereafter to find a fire on a rear-attached deck of a two-storey, multi-family condominium unit.
The report stated two adults were home at the time but had safely evacuated prior to AFD's arrival.
"Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and ventilated the home," read the report.
Four pieces of fire apparatus and 13 firefighters were on scene, and no injuries were reported.
The Fire Prevention Bureau is on scene investigating to determine cause of the fire and an estimate of damages.
