Calgary police say man killed in possible targeted shooting

CALGARY — Police say the homicide unit is investigating a fatal shooting in southeast Calgary.

Officers responded to reports of gunfire this morning in the Douglasdale neighbourhood and found a man dead.

Police say it's believed the shooting was targeted.

They say investigators have been gathering video footage and information from witnesses.

An autopsy is to be scheduled for later this week.

Police say no further details were immediately available because the investigation is in its early stages.
