The 16th annual Best of Airdrie Readers’ Choice Awards kicks off on March 21 to celebrate the city's finest family-run businesses and fundraising events.

Each year Airdronians recognize the people, places, businesses, and events they love in the City of Airdrie by voting for them.

Voting will be open for a month from March 21 until April 22 with winners being announced in the May 16 issue of Airdrie City View and online at AirdrieCityView.com

The awards recognize the best of the best, from specialty businesses, restaurants, professional services and clinics, to the top neighbourhood and even the best local politician and resident of Airdrie.

2023 Winners

The winner of the Best Citizen award in 2023 was Kelsey Brockway, due to her dedication to volunteering and helping those in need. Despite achieving great success as a business owner with her husband Scott at Brockway's Automotive, she finds the greatest reward is helping those in need, she stated last year. Brockway's Automotive also won an award for the best corporate sponsor.

Airdrie Festival of Lights took home gold in the best local festival, while the Kalix Legacy Fund was the top fundraising event.

Community Links took home the gold award in 2023 as the Best Local Cause with over four decades of experience helping others.

The Best of Airdrie Readers’ Choice Awards is a chance to recognize businesses and individuals and shine a light on the good work they're doing city-wide.

Bigger and Better

With a population now over 80,000, Airdrie’s communities continue to recognize the people that built this city.

The kindness and generosity of local entrepreneurs can still make a tremendous impact in the life of residents.

Have your say in who receives the top awards this year by heading to AirdrieCityView.com to cast your votes starting on March 21.
