Davis Chevrolet is celebrating nine years of providing Airdrie and area with Chevrolet, GMC Buick vehicles, including being approved to sell the Corvette, Bolt EV, and GMC Hummer EV. Davis also offers a full line of GM performance engines, transmissions, and components for modern machines and classic muscle cars.
“We are heavily involved in the community and more of a corporate citizen than a business. That makes us stand out,” says Glenn Smaha, General Manager. “Our ‘Davis Difference’ stems from our conscious decision to conduct our operations in a certain way. From day one, our staff has been non-commission. They are not here to sell, but to help you buy. They have no vested interest in how much you pay, just that you find the vehicle you need or desire and that we can reach an agreement on terms.”
He continues, “If you think about it, do you want someone that makes more when you pay more? That way of selling is, in our opinion, an outdated process. Instead, we feature clear and transparent pricing showing pricing net of rebates instead of the MSRP. We don’t charge a documentation fee or any other unnecessary fees (which can lead to more than $6-700 in savings or more). There is also no air conditioning tax – that is a double charge common at most other dealerships. Helping you avoid unnecessary fees speaks to our integrity. We also won’t ask for a deposit until we agree on all the figures.”

“We have always embraced alternative vehicles,” explains Glenn. “Not only do we currently offer the Bolt EV, we sold the Chevrolet Volt too. We actively stock EV’s and have invested in their charging infrastructure too.”
For Glenn, the most rewarding part of his day is seeing the team succeed. He says, “I work for them. Everything they do supports our end goal. Seeing them achieve success is so fulfilling.”
