The Airdrie Farmers Market opened its summer outdoor market season at the Plainsmen Arena on June 7. The weekly market is held there every Wednesday from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in this collision. The investigation is ongoing and there will be no further updates.

As part of local Seniors Week celebrations, an 'Airdrie's Got Talent' seniors' talent show was put on at the Airdrie Town and Country Centre on June 7, showcasing a wide variety of live music, acting, and other performances featuring the city's golden generation.
