Shirley Heslop grew up in a way many young people could not begin to grasp. She documented her life in her first book, titled Shirley Mae of Jangle Creek, which tells of growing up poor in the backwoods of southern Saskatchewan.

Outbreak at Lac La Biche healthcare centre still active

Airdrie Rural RCMP are requesting public assistance in identifying two males responsible for an act of mischief Dec. 4 in the parking lot of CrossIron Mills Mall in East Balzac.
