Calaway Park has announced its approval from Alberta Health to reopen for its 2021 season on June 12. The announcement follows a period of uncertainty for the park after Alberta Health advised that a previous public health order exemption allowing the park to remain open during the COVID-19 pandemic had expired.

Numbers locally have continued the trend of dramatic drops as Airdrie has reported 263 active, down 68 since May 25.
