Due to ongoing rainy conditions, Rocky View County Fire Services has downgraded its fire ban to an advisory for Rocky View County.

A charity fun run with a colourful twist is making its way to Rocky View County (RVC) for the first time this Labour Day Weekend.

After being cancelled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual Moose Mountain Trail Races will make their return to West Bragg Creek and Kananaskis Country this weekend.

Summer may already be winding down, but Rocky View County and area residents can still enjoy some fun in the sun at the Crossfield Elks #416 Demolition Derby, set to take place Aug. 28 at the Crossfield Rodeo Grounds.

Some well owners in west Langdon were left frustrated after a development in the community may have inadvertently impacted their access to water.

“You can take your kids home for the evening and then come and enjoy the dance or go to the bull riding,” Sapergia said. “It’s going to be an authentic barn dance this year. We’re actually going to have it inside the barn.”
