After Chestermere’s previous City council approved reducing the speed limit on well-travelled Chestermere Boulevard from 80 kilometres-an-hour (km/h) to 60 km/h, the newly elected council has voted to reverse the change.

Former Mötley Crüe vocalist John Corabi will perform at the Langdon Firehouse Bar and Grille on Nov. 20, according to co-owner Greg Thompson, who added the concert will mark Corabi’s second time playing in Langdon, after he previously performed at the Firehouse in June 2019. 

An Alberta Health Services (AHS) advisory issued this summer warning Albertans of a possible threat from blue-green algae blooms (or cynobacteria) in Cochrane Lake has been lifted, effective Nov. 1.
