Members of the Airdrie RCMP and Airdrie Fire Department will lace up their skates and battle it out on the ice this weekend, in support of the Airdrie 1st Club.

According to the Airdrie and District Hospice Society, the Tree of Hope is lit every Dec. 1 in Nose Creek Regional Park, in memory of those whose lives have been lost, and as a symbol of resilience for those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The light-up ceremony is typically on the opening night of the Airdrie Festival of Lights. 

According to RCMP, MacLean has brown hair and blue eyes, with a slim build. He is 5'7" tall and weighs 134 pounds. He was last seen wearing faded blue jeans, a Tupac shirt and a Vulcan jacket.

According to FortisAlberta's website, an unplanned power outage occurred in the area around 11 p.m. on Nov. 30.

Crossfield’s rising country star Robert Adam recently announced he’ll be hosting and performing a charity concert on Dec. 10 in Calgary to support Inn from the Cold.

“The need just keeps growing for mental health services, so we’re very lucky to get this funding,” he said. “Otherwise, we wouldn’t be able to offer the programs at all.”

On Nov. 27, 2021 at approximately 6:45 p.m., a man and a woman were at the Tommy Hilfiger store in the CrossIron Mills mall in Balzac, when Airdrie RCMP stated the man approached a patron and punched him unprovoked in the nose.
