Thursday brings milder temperatures to Rocky View County

A chinook will bring warmer temperatures to Rocky View County on Thursday, according to AccuWeather.

Cloudy skies above Chestermere will clear in the morning, bringing a mix of sun and cloud and a high of 6 C. Skies will remain partly cloudy into the evening, as the thermostat drops to a low of 0 C (-2 C with the wind chill).

Irricana will see sunny breaks throughout the day as the temperature reaches a high of 3 C. Heavier cloud cover will move in later in the day, but will clear up again overnight with a return to partly cloudy skies. The low is expected to hit -2 C.

Periods of sun are predicted in Madden, as well, which will see a high of 5 C before the temperature dips to a low of 1 C (-3 C with the wind chill) overnight. Mostly cloudy skies are anticipated heading into Friday.

"High clouds" are in the forecast for Bragg Creek, with some sunshine breaking through. The high is predicted to hit 6 C, with cloud cover increasing into the evening as the temperature drops to a low of -1 C (-2 C with the wind chill).
