Strong thunderstorms possible for Rocky View County this weekend

Sunshine with periods of cloud cover are in the forecast for Rocky View County this weekend, according to AccuWeather – with the possibility of seeing some strong thunderstorm activity.

Irricana will see periods of sun and cloud on Saturday, with a high of 25 C. Overnight, the temperature will cool to 12 C as skies remain partly cloudy, with possible thunderstorm activity. Sunday will bring more potential showers and a high of 23 C – along with the potential for a strong thunderstorm into the evening, as the thermostat falls to 10 C.

Partly sunny skies are in Saturday's forecast for Bragg Creek, which will see the daytime high reach 24 C. The relatively clear weather continues overnight, when the thermostat dips to 10 C before warming up for morning showers and thunderstorms on Sunday. Periods of sun and cloud will continue, with a high of 23 C, and the evening will bring a low of 8 C and clearer skies.

Thunderstorms are possible throughout the weekend in Madden. Saturday will begin with showers and potential thunderstorms, with sunny breaks and a high of 24 C. A stronger thunderstorm may hit the area in the evening, as the temperature cools to 12 C. Sunday morning will bring more thunderstorm activity, along with a high of 22 C and an overnight low of 10 C.

Residents of Indus will see periods of sun and cloud on Saturday, which brings a high of 25 C. The cloud cover will hang around into the evening as the temperature dips to a low of 12, then turns into possible thunderstorms on Sunday morning. The daytime high will reach 23 C, dropping to 10 C overnight.
