Residents of Rocky View County will see some brief sunshine before clouds and flurries move in this evening, according to AccuWeather.

Chestermere will see clouds moving in later in the day and winds gusting up to 30 kilometres per hour (km/h) as the thermostat climbs to a high of 8 C. Snow is expected late in the evening, with a centimetre or two anticipated before morning. Overnight, the temperature could hit a low of -2 C (-4 C with the wind chill).

Thickening clouds are also likely in Irricana, which will see a high of 6 C cooling to an overnight low of -3 C as skies become more overcast. One to three centimetres of snow is predicted, heading into Tuesday.

A high of 6 C is forecast for Cochrane, as well, which will see strong winds and increasing cloud cover throughout the day. In the evening, the temperature drops to a low of -4 C (-7 C with the wind chill) and flurries begin around midnight, accumulating one to three centimetres overnight.

In Bragg Creek, the sun will be hidden by clouds as they move in later in the day, with a high reaching 6 C. Overnight snowfall could accumulate between five and 10 centimetres, as the thermostat dips to a low of -3 C (-5 C with the wind chill).
