Rocky View County to enjoy warm, sunny Tuesday

Plenty of sun in the forecast across Rocky View County, as AccuWeather predicts a hot day with the potential for late evening thunderstorms.

Residents of the Kathyrn area can expect soaring temperatures today, reaching a high of 31 C with a mix of sun and cloud. More cloud will move in overnight, bringing the risk of thunderstorms and a low of 16 C.

The high in Springbank is forecast to hit 29 C, with mostly sunny skies clearing into the evening. Cloud cover will return overnight, along with a low dipping to 15 C.

Cochrane will see periods of both sun and cloud during the day, along with a high of 27 C. The evening will be mostly clear, but clouds will accumulate later on as the temperature cools to a low of 13 C. 

The skies above Beiseker will be sunny to partly cloudy throughout the day as the thermostat climbs to 31 C, before dropping to an overnight low of 16 C. The cloud cover will increase into the evening, ushering in a 90 per cent chance of thunderstorms.
