Rocky View County to enjoy sunshine on Thursday

Rocky View County is in store for another day of sunshine on Thursday, according to AccuWeather.

Chestermere will see "plenty of sunshine" and a high of 5 C, with wind gusts of up to 18 kilometres per hour persisting into the evening. Overnight, the thermostat will drop to a low of -2 C (-6 C with the wind chill) and skies will remain clear.

Sunny skies are in the forecast for Madden, as well, which will see a daytime high reaching 4 C before the temperature dips to an overnight low of -2 C (-6 C with the wind chill). Winds will pick up in the evening, gusting to 20 kilometres per hour through the night.

The high is expected to hit 2 C in Irricana, with sunshine and milder winds than elsewhere in the county. In the evening, the thermostat will fall to a low of -5 C, and  the clear skies sticking around into Friday.

Bragg Creek residents will enjoy a high of 7 C, along with sunny skies and gentle winds that will begin gusting up to 17 kilometres per hour in the evening. The temperature will drop to a low of -3 C (-5 C with the wind chill) overnight.
