RCMP identify female remains found in abandoned trailer in east Rocky View County

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes has released the identity of the female human remains found in an abandoned trailer on Sept. 30.

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes has released the identity of the deceased woman whose remains were found in an abandoned trailer in Rocky View County on Sept. 30. 

According to a press release from Alberta RCMP, Myra Dela Cruz Paule, 40, of Calgary, was found when Airdrie RCMP received a report from someone in east Rocky View County indicating a motorist had found a utility trailer abandoned on Township Road 252 and Range Road 283. 

Upon further examination prior to towing, human remains were found inside the trailer, which was located northeast of Calgary between Conrich and Delacour. 

Following the completion of an autopsy, the circumstances of Paule's death are considered to be suspicious, according to RCMP. Alberta RCMP Major Crimes investigators continues to work closely with the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, according to the release. 

Authorities are asking anyone with information about who was in possession of the homemade, camouflage utility trailer on or before Sept. 26 and 27 to contact the local police. Individuals who saw the trailer being towed during this time, or have details regarding the vehicle towing the trailer, are also encouraged to contact Airdrie RCMP at 403-945-7267.
