Rain forecasted throughout Rocky View County on Thursday

The balmy weather we've experienced these past few days should be sticking around in Rocky View County on Thursday, but expected showers could put a damper on residents' afternoon, according to AccuWeather, which predicts a 64 per cent chance of precipitation and a 20 per cent chance of thunderstorms.

The online weather forecaster calls for a high of 14 C in Langdon on Thursday, but also predicts four millilitres of rainfall during a two-hour window. Wind should remain relatively moderate, however, with expected gusts reaching a maximum of 20 km/h, according to AccuWeather.

South of Langdon, thermometers in the hamlet of Dalemead should hit the same high as its neighbour to the north, with a night-time low of 1 C and a max UV index of three. The same rainfall should hit Dalemead, as well.

In the southwest corner of the county, Redwood Meadows will also experience double-digit highs of 12 C, and an overnight low of -1 C. AccuWeather forecasts "spotty showers" in the area on Thursday, with the same four millilitres of rainfall expected throughout most of the county.

In the northernmost community of the county, Crossfield residents will experience a high of 12 C, along with a night-time low that stays just above zero. Crossfield should also receive four millilitres of rain, according to AccuWeather.
