Update: Dayza Baptiste has been located safe, according to a Jan. 29 Cochrane RCMP release.
Cochrane RCMP are soliciting the public for help finding a missing Rocky View County (RVC) girl.
According to a Jan. 29 press release from the detachment, RCMP is attempting to locate 16-year-old Dayza Baptiste of Redwood Meadows, who was last seen Jan. 27.
Baptiste is described as Indigenous, standing five-foot-six and weighing approximately 134 pounds. She has medium-length, bright red hair and brown eyes. She is believed to be in Calgary.
Anyone with information on Baptiste's whereabouts is asked to contact Cochrane RCMP at 403-851-8000, or their local police detachment.
