Monday brings snow showers to Rocky View County

Snow is anticipated across Rocky View County on Monday, with flurries likely to continue into Tuesday, according to AccuWeather.

Bragg Creek residents can expect a few snow showers this morning as the temperature reaches a high of 2 C. Cloudy skies will hang around into the evening, with another flurry anticipated overnight. The low will fall to -5 C, or -7 C with the wind chill.

The Kathyrn area will also see snow in the morning, with a high of 3 C in the forecast. "Considerable clouds" will move in overnight as the thermostat dips to a low of -2 C (-7 C with the wind chill).

A high of 1 C is predicted for the Madden area, along with periods of snow throughout the day. Another flurry is expected late in the evening, when the temperature will drop to a low of -3 C (or -9 C, with the wind chill).

Snow showers are likely in Indus this morning, with a high reaching 2 C. The cloud cover will thicken into the evening, as the thermostat falls to an overnight low of -2 C (or -6 C, with the wind chill).
