Martin Shield re-elected as Bow River MP

Early results indicate incumbent Martin Shields will once again represent Bow River as its Member of Parliament.

Early results indicate incumbent Martin Shields will once again represent Bow River as its Member of Parliament.

With just more than 70 per cent of polls reporting, the Conservative candidate has unofficially captured 24,149 votes of the riding's 78,944 electors. 

Following Shields is the New Democratic Party's Lynn Max William with 1,850 votes, Liberal candidate Margaret Rhemtulla with 1,787 votes, Tom Ikert of the People's Party with 764 votes, Green Party candidate Hendrika Maria Tultof de Jonge with 499 votes, and Christian Hertitage Party's Tom Lipp with 252 votes.
