Locals and visitors alike came out in full force to the Town of Irricana's inaugural Irricana Day celebration, July 6.
The day-long festivities included a variety of fun activities, including a show and shine on Main Street, a dog-agility demonstration, horse-racing, a bouncy castle for kids, and much more.
According to Town of Irricana Chief Administrative Officer Ted Coffey, the event was created as a belated way for locals to celebrate Canada Day closer to home, as most Irricana residents flock to Airdrie or elsewhere on Canada's birthday.
