Hi everyone, my name is Brynn Hagel and I am the new club reporter for the Crossfield-Madden 4-H Beef Club. This is my second year with 4-H.
Our club has been operating for 31 years and has a proud tradition. This year, we have 22 members, including 12 juniors, eight intermediates and two seniors. This year, we are still selling our 4-H steer projects, but due to COVID-19, we will be selling our steers at our Achievement Day show and sale, rather than at our usual 4-H On Parade event.
Our sale will be online this year, and Dorran Auctioneering has graciously agreed to help us with the sale. Our Achievement Day show and sale will take place on May 22, with the sale beginning at 6:30 p.m.

We are very excited about our upcoming Achievement Day show and sale, as it is an opportunity to see all of our hard work preparing and working with our projects come together. This year because of COVID-19, our club has been doing things differently, such as holding our monthly meetings on Zoom, dividing the club into groups for club events and doing our part by wearing masks and social distancing. We hope you’re doing your part too, as we are all in this together!
