UPDATE - Cochrane RCMP released a statement Sept. 18, stating "Dixon has been located safe. Cochrane RCMP thanks the public for their assistance."
Cochrane police are asking for the public's assistance to locate missing 15-year-old Alysia Jade Dixon.
According to a Sept. 18 press release from Cochrane RCMP, Dixon was reported missing Sept. 17 by the Stony Child and Family Services office, and was last seen Sept. 1 at the Pow Wow in Morley.
"There is a general concern for her safety, as she is only 15 years old and lives a quasi-transient lifestyle," the press release stated.
Dixon is described as Aboriginal, standing 5'2" and weighing 110 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes.
