BRAGG CREEK— At approximately 5 p.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 13), RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Highway 66 southeast of Bragg Creek near Highway 22.
A preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle veered off the road while travelling southbound and rolled into a water-filled embankment.
The lone occupant of the vehicle, a 44-year-old Calgary man, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Cochrane RCMP continues to investigate, but no further updates are anticipated.
