Cochrane RCMP has two men in custody after break-ins to vehicles in Turner Valley.

At 2:40 a.m. Jan. 31, residents in Turner Valley were woken by two individuals breaking into vehicles and a home. Turner Valley RCMP located the vehicle involved in the thefts leaving the area at a high speed and alerted local detachments.

The two men face charges of possession of stolen property over $5,000, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and breaching conditions of release. Further charges are pending which include theft, attempted theft of a motor vehicle and breaking and entering into a residence.
