Another cold day expected in Rocky View County on Wednesday

Wednesday brings more chilly weather to Rocky View County, according to AccuWeather.

Langdon will see sunny skies with cold temperatures – a daytime high of -4 C (-8 C with the wind chill) dropping to -11 C (-12 C with the wind chill) overnight. Winds will gust up to 20 kilometres per hour (km/h) in the afternoon, letting up some in the evening.

Sunshine is expected in Beiseker, as well, along with a high of -5 C (-8 C with the wind chill). Overnight, the thermostat will fall to a low of -14 C (-16 C with the wind chill), and exposed skin could experience frostbite in less than 15 minutes.

A high of -2 C (-4 C with the wind chill) is predicted for the Cochrane Lake area, which will see winds gusting up to 24 km/h during the day. Skies will become partly cloudy in the evening, as the temperature reaches a low of -11 C (-16 C with the wind chill).

After a heavy snowfall warning, Bragg Creek will see sunny skies and a high of -4 C before the thermostat drops to an overnight low of -12 C (-13 C with the wind chill). Caution is advised if outside for extended periods of time, according to AccuWeather.
