Though we know some residents will be upset by the new rules surrounding potable water usage in Airdrie, we must admit water is a valuable resource that must be protected.

About-face

While we respect an individual’s right to change their mind, it did raise eyebrows when a staunch opponent to the Springbank Off-Stream Reservoir (SR1) opted to make an about-face and sell his property to the province .

Future fail

For those who attended the Jan. 21 City of Airdrie council meeting, the parade of speakers in support of a family seeking redistricting on their property seemed endless.

Disrespect

We were surprised when councillors attempted to skip a report from administration Jan. 22 .

It stinks

If you were out and about Jan. 10, your nose was likely overwhelmed by the offensive odour that permeated through parts of the city. It was unpleasant and very noticeable. We can understand why residents near the Thorlakson Nature’s Call Inc.
