Dear editor,

This is a short note but a big thank you to Crossfield residents, and two Town of Crossfield employees in particular.

On a recent trip to Crossfield's medical clinic, excavation necessitated a much longer walk than usual. About a third of the way, my wife was unable to go any further. I was struggling with her walker and the heavy oxygen concentrator when two gentlemen stepped up and practically carried her to and through the clinic.

Furthermore, they phoned the nurse so they could be on hand to assist in the exit (we were allowed out the rear door to my car after moving it closer.)

My wife considers these two gentlemen nothing less than angels. Thank you, Crossfield!
