Wayne Roy Price
Wayne was born on the family farm south west of Crossfield June 20, 1932, where he and his wife Bernice remained until 1995 raising their family of 6 children. In 1995 they moved into Crossfield where they delighted neighbours with their popular Christmas light display. In 2018 Wayne moved to the Bethany Care Centre in Didsbury. He passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in the Didsbury Hospital.
Over the years Wayne belonged to many community groups and organizations; he was heavily involved with the Crossfield Elks, served as a Delegate for the U.F.A., volunteered with the Crossfield United Church, Crossfield Agriculture Society, Golden Key Club & Crossfield Old Timers Association.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Helen (Stan) Volk, Irene, Linda (Don) Rush, Earl (Pat) Price, Darlene (Lucien) Houle & Gordon (Stacy) Price;13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Wayne was predeceased by his wife, Bernice; parents, Allen & Amy Price, brothers Lynn & Stan, sister Pauline.
