It is with profound sadness that the family of Debbie Marie Pelletier announces her sudden passing on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the young age of 61.
Deb is survived by her daughters: Renee (Gabe), Michelle (Thars) and Stephanie; grandsons: Cohen, Jordan and Cameron; her father, Peter (Colleen); sisters: Lori and Fran (Al); and her brother Perry (Lauri-Ann). Deb was predeceased by her daughter, Danielle; mother, Sandy; and brother, Pete.
Deb was born and raised in Port Alberni, BC. She lived throughout BC and Alberta, mostly working as an insurance agent across Vancouver Island, Burnaby, and Calgary. She had just been promoted to the role of team lead, which she loved doing. She moved to Airdrie from the Island in 2017 to be near her daughters and grandsons. Her family meant the world to her. She enjoyed watching her grandsons play ice hockey and was their number one fan. She spent summers camping with her family and friends. Deb loved to travel. Most recently, this past June, she and Michelle spent quality mother/daughter time touring France. She had endless travel plans with family in the works.
Deb was a positive, genuine, loving, selfless, and caring person. She had a beautiful soul. She brought light into the lives of everyone who knew her. We are all so grateful for the time we had with Deb. She was deeply loved and will be forever missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 14, 2023, from 1-4pm at the Bayside Resort, 240 Dogwood Street, Parksville, BC. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the BC Children’s Hospital, the charity Deb donated to annually.
