Patrick McKervey, beloved husband, father and grandfather of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at the age of 61 years in his home surrounded by his family.

 

Pat was born in Rocky Mountain House, AB, on November 2, 1958.

He was the fifth of fifteen children to Arthur and Anne McKervey.

 

His family moved to Calgary in 1961, they lived in Forest Lawn up until his late teenage years, where he then had various jobs between Calgary and Rocky.

 

He was then married on September 5, 1987 to his loving wife Katherine Nothof (Kathy) shortly after they settled in Calgary, where he dedicated thirty-two years of his life to the family business with his brothers at Empire Truck Parts as a heavy duty mechanic.

 

With his Catholic upbringing he spent his life devoted to going to mass and being a loving husband and father.

 

Patrick is survived by his wife Kathy; nine children, Jake (Amanda), Jacqueline, Aaron, Alexandra, Olivia, Victor, Fredrick, Cynthia and Kurtis; three grandchildren, Eleanor, Leo and Felix; as well as his five brothers, eight sisters, and numerous nephews and nieces.

  

He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Anne McKervey, his sister Veronica McKervey and nephew Francis McKervey.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at St. Dennis Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

 

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Dennis Church (4718 Worcester Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Wednesday, September 02, 2020 at 11:00 a.m.  Graveside Service will follow at Rocky View Garden of Peace.
