OSENDA, Leslie Nii-Adjetey

August 31, 1979 – Osu , Ghana

June 26, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Leslie Osenda, beloved husband of Candice Kolson, passed awayon Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the age of 41years.

Leslie was born in Osu, Ghana on August 31, 1979 to proud parents Marion Nathan-Dove and Clive Osenda. They immigrated to Manchester, England where they lived for one year before finding the perfect home in Alberta, Canada when Leslie was two years old. He grew up loving all Alberta had to offer and continued to call Alberta home throughout his life.

Leslie graduated from Red Deer College with a major in marketing and loved the ideals of entrepreneurship. However, because Leslie likes to always keep everyone guessing he found a true passion in the welding industry. He loved his career, and the ability to provide for his family while being home every night.

Leslie found the perfect partner in Candice. Kind, caring, and always up for a good time, the two were the perfect pair. They welcomed two amazing children Irelyn and Gabriel within their 18 years of being together.

Leslie was an amazing father. He could always be seen (and heard) at all of his children's sporting events. He was their number one cheerleader in life encouraging them to always put in their best effort and pursue their passions. His sarcastic wit was one of the most noticeable traits that were passed onto his children and continue to make everyone smile and keep us on our toes. It's safe to say that his children were his proudest achievements in life.

Leslie enjoyed camping and being around people he loved. Wherever he went he was always the life of the party. He had an aura around him that exuded fun. He loved to entertain, making his famous rum punch or margaritas for the crowd.

Leslie is survived by his loving wife and, children Irelyn and Gabriel; mother Marion, father Clive (Barbara), his siblings,Muriel (Walter),  Juanita, KC and Bryce; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Leslie was predeceased by his grandmother Victoria; and his uncles Joe and Dr. Sai.
