DELORME, Tyler Scott

June 8, 1972– Calgary, Alberta

September 17, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tyler Delorme at the age of 49 years, after a short battle with lung disease.

Tyler grew up west of Airdrie and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed playing hockey and baseball, as well as riding horses and motor bikes throughout his adolescent and teenage years. Once he obtained his driver’s licence, Tyler’s interest turned to trucks. After graduating high school, Tyler knew exactly what he wanted to do, become an Automotive Service Technician.

Tyler’s dream of owning his own shop became a reality in 2004, as the opportunity presented itself for him to become the new owner of Highland Automotive.  Tyler was hardworking and dedicated to his family and business.  He was also very blessed to watch his children grow up into remarkable young adults. Despite his complicated medical history, Tyler’s sense of humor, wise crack comments and sarcasm brought a smile to all those who knew him.

Tyler’s love of camping, quadding, boating, golfing and travelling gave him the chance to spend lots of quality time with family and friends.  If you were looking for Tyler, you would quite often find him out in the garage fine tuning one of his many vehicles, maintaining any other motorized equipment or “solving all the worlds problems” with his buddies and enjoying a cold beverage.

Tyler will be forever loved and deeply missed by his spouse Angela Fox; children, Tristen and Cheyenne Delorme; father Lyall Delorme; sister Misty (Shane) Reberger; niece Fallon and nephew Jett; brother-in-law Brett (Maureen) Fox; sister-in-law Jan (Kurt) Ginther;  brother-in-law Mark (Jocelyn) Fox; nieces, Britney and Kelly; nephews, Mick, Evan and Haden; and several uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Tyler was predeceased by his mother Constance (Connie) Delorme, father-in-law Larry Fox, mother-in-law Shirley Fox, grandparents Grant and Mary Collins of Manitoba, and Saul and Beatrice Delorme, also of Manitoba.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to The Lung Association, Alberta & NWT. (17420 Stony Plain Rd #208, Edmonton, AB T5S 1K6) https://www.ab.lung.ca/donate
