Acheson, Kimberley (Kim) Kathleen (nee McLellan)

June 8, 1973 - October 29, 2022

With great sadness the family of Kimberley (Kim) Acheson announce her passing at the age of 49 years..

The world was a better place after you met Kim. Everyone she met became her friend; often times creating lifelong friendships throughout her personal and work life. She had a genuine love of people, an infectious smile, an endless supply of positive energy, incredible determination, and an ability to see the very best in people and inspire others to do their best.

Kim came to Airdrie in 2003; working side by side with Mike as owners of The Cooperators/ Rocky View Insurance Services. Kim enjoyed helping in the community in any project to help others; volunteering through the Rotary Club of Airdrie, the Airdrie Food Bank, sponsoring child seat safety (Buckle up Bears) to name just a few. Kim was always willing to lend a hand and help out.

The Cooperators was a second family to Kim; she met many people within the organization that became friends. She was often sought after to provide feedback and highly respected for her suggestions. Together with Mike they enjoyed any occasion for travel and to be able to socialize with their Cooperators family.

Left to mourn is her husband and soul mate Michael, daughters Jenna and Kenzie, her father Wayne McLellan and brother Shaun McLellan (Heather) numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother Susan McLellan.

A celebration of Kimberley’s life will be held on Monday November 14, 2022, at the Airdrie Town and Country Centre 275 Jensen Drive NE Airdrie Alberta at 2:00 p.m.

The family invites you to an informal reception to follow at the Woodside Golf Course 525 Woodside Drive NW Airdrie Alberta at 4:30 to have a social celebration of Kimberley’s life.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you make a donation in memory of Kimberley to the Airdrie and District Community Foundation www.airdriefoundation.ca/donate-now/
