Dozens of athletes from Airdrie and Rocky View County (RVC) high schools were in action May 22 at the South Central Zones 3A track and field meet. The meet acts as a qualifier for the 2019 Alberta Schools Athletic Association track and field provincial championships, which will be held June 7 and 8 at the Foothills Athletic Park in Calgary.
RVC athletes came from Cochrane High School, Bow Valley High School, Springbank Community High School and Chestermere High School, while Airdrie athletes came from George McDougall, Bert Church and W.H. Croxford.
