It is with great pleasure that we announce the winners of the 2022 Airdrie Minor Basketball Association (AMBA) Scholarships.
Connor Jones and Jocelyn Slivinski were awarded their scholarship cheques at their homes on Sunday, Nov. 27.
Connor is this year’s winner of the Sean Smith Memorial Scholarship. Jones is a former AMBA player and referee, currently studying athletic therapy at Mount Royal University in Calgary.
Jocelyn was awarded this year’s Colin McKenna Memorial Scholarship. Slivinski is a former AMBA assistant coach and volunteer, currently earning her Bachelor of Education at St. Mary’s University in Calgary.
