After another fatal collision at the intersection of Highway 21 and Highway 9, outside of the Village of Beiseker, July 15, has officials and residents are calling for safety measures to be implemented at the infamous intersection.

Rocky View County, CrossIron Mills mall and the City of Airdrie have joined forces to include an additional stop Airdrie’s Intercity Express (ICE).

Beiseker RCMP welcomed Sgt. Glen Demmon to the village in June, and it’s a return to community policing for Demmon.

The Village of Beiseker welcomed its new RCMP sergeant to town, June 24. Sgt. Glen Demmon will be heading up the local RCMP detachment.

An 18-year-old man from Three Hills died after being hit by a truck as a result of a three vehicle collision in a near Beiseker on July 15.

Chestermere RCMP are asking for the assistance of the public after a dumpster fire on July 12 in a townhouse complex at 371 Marina Drive. There were two dumpsters located in an open but covered structure and one was set on fire.

Crossfield Council voted unanimously at the July 16, meeting to pay $2,500 left over from the 2013 parks department budget to bring in an arbourist to asses the trees located on Town-owned land.
