Vendor applications are now being accepted for airdrieFEST 2019, with the annual family street festival set to run Sept. 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside of City Hall.
With roughly 7,500 people attending the event in 2018, Rebecca Nielsen, community developer with the City of Airdrie, said airdrieFEST is an incredible way for organizations to showcase their offerings.
“airdrieFEST is one of Airdrie’s premier outdoor festivals featuring local non-profit organizations and local businesses,” Nielsen said. “This is a particularly special year, as airdrieFEST celebrates its 10th year alongside the City’s 110th birthday. It’s going to be a great celebration – Airdrie residents won’t want to miss it.”
This year, 187 vendor booths will be available for a price of $105 for businesses, $55 for non-profit groups and $200 for food trucks and registration is open at airdriefest.ca
The festival is organized by a committee of community partners including Airdrie Public Library, Airdrie Chamber of Commerce, Airdrie Mainstreet Square, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Club of Airdrie, North Rocky View Community Links, Volunteer Airdrie and the City of Airdrie.
