Airdrie RCMP is asking for the public's help in identifying two men allegedly responsible for a Sept. 30 liquor theft.
"Two male suspects entered the Star Liquor Store located on Yankee Valley Boulevard," an Oct. 7 RCMP release stated. "They purchased one bottle of vodka and upon leaving the store, one male ran back to the shelf and grabbed two bottles of Smirnoff vodka. They then exited the store without paying for the two bottles.
The men were seen fleeing the scene in a stolen 2009 Ford Escape, according to police.
The first suspect is described by RCMP as Indigenous with a medium build and short, black hair. He was wearing a sweatshirt, jacket and pants – all dark coloured – and black, red and white shoes.
The second man is also described as Indigenous, with a a medium build and short, black hair. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black ball cap, according to police.
