More than 11,000 Satisfaction Surveys have been filled out and returned to Rocky View Schools (RVS).
The results have left the RVS’ board of trustees with plenty of positive reinforcement. The satisfaction results, compiled during the 2010-11 school year, either stayed the same or increased up to five per cent from the 2009-10 surveys.
“Rocky View Schools’ third annual satisfaction survey results provide reason to celebrate with incremental gains made and a great degree of satisfaction noted with Rocky View Schools,” said Greg Bass, superintendent of schools.
Overall, 1,305 surveys were completed by staff, 1,921 by parents and 8,086 by students, for a total of 11,312. The number was actually down slightly from last year’s 11,819.
Parent surveys stayed the same or improved, as did student surveys, while the staff surveys stayed consistent.
“With the introduction of a new three-year plan in the 2011-12 school year, RVS’ annual satisfaction surveys will need to be revised to reflect the jurisdiction’s new outcome statements,” Bass said. “Having three years of data and feedback is very powerful. It helps guide efforts for the future.”
