RCMP looking for liquor theft suspect

Airdrie RCMP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved with a theft from a local liquor store, according to a RCMP press release.

The suspect entered the Superstore Liquor Store located on Veteran's Boulevard at around 7:30 p.m. May 14, according to police, and stole two bottles of liquor.

“He took two bottles of Glenfiddich Scotch, worth approximately $130, and left the store without paying for them,” RCMP said.

The suspect is being described by police as an East Indian male approximately 30 to 40 years old. He was wearing a black baseball hat and a black, white and red sweater at the time.
