An attempt by Airdrie RCMP officers to stop a truck that was being driving erratically has resulted in the detachment asking the public to check video surveillance.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m. on March 28, according to police, when RCMP attempted to stop the truck.
"The driver failed to stop for police and fled westbound on 40th Avenue," a March 29 release read. "A short time later, the truck stopped at the south end of 8th Street and the two occupants fled on foot into the Hillcrest neighbourhood."
Police said the male suspects were not located, “however it is known that they were in many yards in Hillcrest.”
RCMP is asking Hillcrest residents to check video surveillance they might have and email Airdrie RCMP at [email protected] if the men are seen.
