Airdrie residents can expect to see an even cooler day on Thursday.
With a high of just 9 C and precipitation of between five to 10 millimetres (mm) in the forecast, the last day of spring is shaping up to be a chilly one. Wind gusts are also anticipated, at times blowing up to 50 kilometres per hour (km/hr).
The rain will continue overnight, accumulating around 10 to 15 mm. The wind will remain steady as well, with gusts of up to 60 km/hr around midnight. The temperature will hover at around 9 C.
Showers are expected to last into Friday, but it looks like the temperature might start to climb back up.
