On Feb. 1 at 11:30 a.m., Cochrane RCMP were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 1, just east of Highway 40. Two semi tractor-trailers were involved in the collision along with a third trailer.
There were no serious injuries and the cause of the collision is under investigation. Highway 1 eastbound was closed and eastbound traffic was being re-routed down Highway 1X to Highway 1A.
