On Sept. 29, the Bow Valley Beef and Multi 4-H Club had its first meeting of the year, where the new executive was elected. This year our president is Jordynn Jamieson, vice president is Carmen McMurray, secretary is Colby MacDonald and treasurer is Taylor Isley. Our club leader is Neil Jamieson, the steer leader is Steve H, the heifer leader is Henry VanVeen, and the multi leader is Rob MacDonald.
This year,, our club has chosen to participate in Clever Kids, a new program that started in Alberta last year. It gives kids ages six to eight a chance to get involved with 4-H. In our club, we have two kids participating: Logan Jamieson and Dawson Cleveland.
Also, the photography group of 2009 is putting together calendars that will be available in the New Year. We saw many new faces and we are all look forward to the rest of the year.
