Flurries excepected this weekend in Airdrie

Flurries are likely on the way for Airdrie this weekend, according to Environment Canada.

A sunny start to the day will shift to a mix of sun and cloud with a 30 per cent chance of flurries and wind gusting to 40 kilometres per hour in the afternoon.

Wind chill will bring a brisk morning, making it feel like -14 C. Temperatures are expected to rise to a forecast high of 1 C.

Clear and cool in the evening, with a forecast low of -16 C.

A mix of sun and cloud, and a forecast high of -2 C on Sunday, with 60 per cent chance of flurries.

Cloudy periods and low of -10 C in the evening, bring with them a 60 per cent chance of flurries.
