4-H members, leaders and volunteers are being encouraged to enter a photography contest and take their shot at a $250 grand prize. Second place will win $150 and third will receive $100.
The contest is sponsored by AMA Insurance and the winning photo will be featured in the agency’s ads in the November issue of Alberta 4-H Magazine.
The 2008 winner Dorthea Mills of Taber beat out 67 other entrants with a photo of her two daughters standing by a canola field waiting for their dad to pick them up in his tractor. There was no contest last year.
Contest entries will be accepted until Sept. 15. For more information, visit www.amainsurance.ca/farmphotocontest
