Classes at the Grasshopper Gallery on Main Street, Irricana will soon be underway.
The gallery will offer beginner and intermediate classes in painting, card making, jewlry making and drawing.

Both Irricana and Beiseker hosted Terry Fox Runs.
In Irricana, the run took place on Sept. 19 at 9 a.m.
In Beiseker, the run took place on Sept. 24 at the school at 1 p.m.
Over the past three decades, Terry Fox Runs have raised $500 million for cancer research. Eighty-seven cents of every dollar raised goes directly to cancer research.
All ages participated.
Nominations are being accepted at the Town office for the Volunteer Appreciation and awards night in Irricana for three categories: rural, urban and youth volunteer. Nomination forms are available at the Town office or on the website, www.irricana.com
The awards will be presented at the Volunteer Appreciation dinner on Nov. 18 at the Irricana Lions community hall.
Bookings are now being taken for the Beiseker Christmas Market to be held Dec. 4 at the Community Centre.

There will be a candidate forum in Beiseker on Oct. 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the community centre for anyone seeking a seat on council. The public is urged to attend.
